I would like to pass along some information I read a couple weeks ago about water. You probably know that you need to drink 8 cups of water every day or maybe you’ve heard the more precise method where you take your body weight in pounds and divide it in half to give you the amount of water you need to drink in ounces. For example, if a person weighs 160 lbs then they would need to drink 80 ounces of water. What I read was that you have to make sure to spread it out throughout the day. One idea would be to take to the 80 ounces from the example above and drink about 8 ounces each hour during the day. That way you stay properly hydrated all day long where as if you drank the entire 80 ounces in the few hours before you go to bed you would be dehydrated all day long and be up a few times during the night to run to the bathroom.
