Government Health Care Plan? I Prefer Wellness Care

My “local” congressman called a few nights ago with an automated phone survey to get my input on what they are working on in Washington. One problem with the survey is that it only accepted “yes” or “no” answers, so it was pretty meaningless in my opinion. The other problem is that I really don’t care too much about what they are doing because I look after my own interests.  The two major areas in the survey were about health care and taxing the wealthy. I give my viewpoint on the taxation issue on one of my other blogs. This is about my view on health care.

Develop Your Intuition

Do you listen to your intuition? Do you even know what your intuition is?

Bob Proctor in 6 Minutes to Success defines intuition as the mental factor that allows you to tune into vibration. Everyone is transmitting thought energy, or vibrations, all day long. So, your intuition is your ability to pick up on what other people are thinking.

Bob suggests an exercise to demonstrate. Pick one person that you know and think about them calling you. Think about it frequently, all day long. The stronger your feeling of them calling you, the stronger the vibration that you put out. Chances are that they will call you before the end of the day, or the next time you talk to them they will probably tell you that they were thinking about calling you.

Qigong is Excellent Exercise

I spent 4 days at a qigong workshop and really enjoyed it.  The emphasis was on the healing aspects of qigong but I want to talk about the exercise benefits.  From watching us move through the forms you wouldn’t think it was much exercise, but you would be wrong.  The movements are slow which takes a lot of control.  Your arms are held out at either chest height or above your head for an extended period of time, which takes a lot of endurance.  Our instructor joked about how big guys who spend a lot of time working out have a hard time keeping their arms up.  Working through the forms of qigong will help you build up your endurance and work on muscles that you don’t normally pay attention to.
